See below the damage which can occur when an engine is not properly winterized. These pictures show the power of water when frozen water jackets are forced to crack engine blocks. Regular flushing will help corrosion of your exhaust manifolds and risers.

Some modern engines are fitted with a drain down facility, these are good for during you’re in use time but we recommend a full drain down at the end of the season.

Remember even if your boat is stored in a garage or carport it can still freeze up.

Don’t forget domestic water systems, fresh water tank, calorifier and even holding tanks.
